Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre Hours

Admission

The Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre is admission by donation. The suggested donation is $2 per person and $5 per family. The Ecology Centre depends on support from our visitors to remain open. The Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge and park trails are free.

Lynn Canyon Park Hours

The Lynn Canyon Park Gates open at 7 am and close at 6 pm in the winter. They open at 7 am and close at 7 pm in the spring and fall. They open at 7 am and close at 9 pm in the summer.

Lynn Canyon Cafe

The Lynn Canyon Cafe is closed for the winter season.The Lynn Canyon Cafe is located across the street from the suspension bridge and just a few steps away from the Ecology Centre. The Cafe features casual eat-in or take out dining. For information about the Cafe contact them at 604-739-3663.

Parking

Car parking in Lynn Canyon Park is free. Please note that during the summer months the parking lots fill up quickly. Allow plenty of time to find a spot or consider taking alternate transportation to the park.

New Parking Regulations! The upper (gravel) parking lot is restricted to 3 hour parking.

Bus Parking

Buses require permits in Lynn Canyon Park. Bus drivers can purchase their parking permits at the Ecology Centre.

Bus parking fees are a flat rate. No tax will be added at the till.

Bus parking fees are waived for groups registered in Ecology Centre programs. Bus drivers must come into the Ecology Centre and pick up their free parking permit to display in the bus window.

Accessibility

The Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre, the Lynn Canyon Cafe, the public washrooms, and the covered picnic area are all wheelchair accessible. The suspension bridge and park trails are not wheelchair or stroller accessible.

Washrooms

There are no public washrooms at the Ecology Centre. The public washrooms complete with baby change tables and water fountains are on the west side of the Lynn Canyon Cafe building.

Park Rangers and First Aid

The ranger and first aid station is located on the east side of the Cafe building. Please note that park rangers are only in the park from May to September.

Dogs in the Park

Dogs must be leashed on the trails north of Twin Falls Bridge. Dogs may be off leash but under control on trails south of Twin Falls Bridge. All dog poop must be scooped. Guide and assistance dogs are welcome in the Ecology Centre. No other dogs are allowed into the Ecology Centre.

Telephones

There are no public phones in Lynn Canyon Park. Cell phone signals are generally good near the Ecology Centre, Cafe, picnic area, and suspension bridge. Cell phone signals can be unreliable in some areas of the canyon.

Method of Payment

The Ecology Centre and Gift Shop accept cash, debit, VISA, MasterCard and American Express.

Photography

Visitors are welcome to take personal photos in the Ecology Centre museum.
