Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre Hours

The Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre is open daily from 10 am to 4 pm during the week and 12 pm to 4 pm on weekends. Please call 604-990-3755 to book your 30 minute visit at the Ecology Centre. Walk in visits are accepted if space is available. Masks are required for ages 2 and up, unless you have a medical exemption.

Lynn Canyon Park Closures

The Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge will remain closed throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. The Baden Powell Trail from Dempsey Rd. to the Susprendsion Bridge is also close for boardwalk replacement.

Lynn Canyon Cafe

The Lynn Canyon Cafe is closed, public washrooms located at the cafe are open year round.

Pay Parking - Coming Soon

As of Spring 2021, the District of North Vancouver will be piloting a two-year pay parking program. Parking will cost $3 an hour for a maximum of 3 hours. Pay parking will be in effect seasonally.

District residents will be eligible to purchase an annual DNV Park Parking Pass ($10) that will allow them to park in the lot without paying the hourly rate. Vehicles with a disability decal will be exempt from payment at the lot.

Accessibility

The Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre, the Lynn Canyon Cafe, the public washrooms, and the covered picnic area are all wheelchair accessible. The suspension bridge and park trails are not wheelchair or stroller accessible.

Washrooms

There are no public washrooms at the Ecology Centre. The public washrooms complete with baby change tables and water fountains are on the west side of the Lynn Canyon Cafe building.

Park Rangers and First Aid

The ranger and first aid station is located on the east side of the Cafe building. Please note that park rangers are only in the park from May to September.

Dogs in the Park

Dogs must be leashed on the trails north of Twin Falls Bridge. Dogs may be off leash but under control on trails south of Twin Falls Bridge. All dog poop must be scooped. Guide and assistance dogs are welcome in the Ecology Centre. No other dogs are allowed into the Ecology Centre.

Telephones

There are no public phones in Lynn Canyon Park. Cell phone signals are generally good near the Ecology Centre, Cafe, picnic area, and suspension bridge. Cell phone signals can be unreliable in some areas of the canyon.

Method of Payment

The Ecology Centre and Gift Shop accept cash, debit, VISA, MasterCard and American Express.

Visitors are welcome to take personal photos in the Ecology Centre museum.
